You will fall in love with paved miles (over 10 miles!!!) of winding paths of Saddle River County Park. Here, you can escape traffic, busy streets and cars passing you by. Do it all: fishing, running, walking, cycling, rollerblading. It will be a truly enjoyable experience. Especially rollerblading! You know how hard it is to find a suitable, paved road (aside busy streets) for rollerblading. And here, voila, the paths stretch for miles! It will take you some time to complete a circle around the park! Trust me!
And bring your camera! This park presents countless photo opportunities. Deer, bunnies, chipmunks…they all live here! White and gray egrets are among many bird species found here. I heard owls in the evening as well:)
This is an all-season park and you can visit anytime. And no, there is no entrance fee! There are several parking spots and you can access them in different locations (below are maps for your convenience).
